Mick Foley Teases Coming Out of Retirement to Face Ex-WWE Star

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley has a storied career spanning various companies and matchups against top stars. As a veteran, it’s not unexpected that Foley expresses a desire to partake in one final Death Match. Recently, he responded to a callout from a former WWE Superstar regarding his final match.

Mick Foley revealed that he is contemplating coming out of retirement for one final match on his 60th birthday. The Hall of Famer mentioned that this potential return and retirement bout would be a deathmatch, explicitly stating it would occur outside of WWE.

Foley identified Jon Moxley and Matt Cardona as possible opponents for this match, highlighting that Cardona has notable standing in the deathmatch scene. In light of this, Mick Foley issued a direct challenge to Mick Foley on Instagram.

If @realmickfoley is really having one last match…and it’s a deathmatch…there is only person who should be his opponent…

Mick Foley saw Matt Cardona’s post and commented on it, making it clear that Matt Cardona will pay for his challenge.

Mick Foley is also working in OVW and fans certainly enjoyed his appearances on the show. It remains to be seen will be able to achieve his goal and finally compete in one last death match, especially if it is against Matt Cardona.
