Stade Rennais faces AC Milan in the round of 16 first leg of the Europa League, this Thursday (9 p.m.). Here is the expected line-up for the Lombard club.

In its long history, Stade Rennais has rarely had the opportunity to come up against the most successful teams on the continent. However, this will be the case this Thursday evening, with the first round of a double confrontation against AC Milan, the second most successful club on the European scene behind Real Madrid.

An event for Julien Stéphan’s gang, who will discover a legendary arena by going to San Siro for this round of 16 first leg of the Europa League. And the Bretons should also have the chance to meet the stars of the Lombard club.

Milan with its strong forces

Stefano Pioli should still rely on his strengths for this match. Olivier Giroud is expected at the forefront of the attack, while Rafael Leao, so devastating against PSG last fall, should be aligned on the left. Pulisic and Loftus-Cheek are also expected. Other French internationals Théo Hernandez and Mike Maignant should start.

The Rossoneri coach, on the other hand, will have to do without Calabria, Tomori, Kalulu or even Pobega. All these players are currently filling the Milanese infirmary and are out of this match.

The expected line-up for AC Milan: Maignan – Florenzi, Gabbia, Kjaer, Hernandez – Musah, Reijnders – Pulisic, Loftus-Cheek, Leao – Giroud.
