Friday’s report in Italian outlet, Mlian tips Ola Aina for a return to Serie A after just two years of leaving the league, with the Nigerian defender strongly linked with AC Milan and AS Roma, PUNCH Sports Extra reports.

The versatile right-back is enjoying a stellar season with Nottingham Forest in the English Premier League but could be on the move, as his contract expires at the end of the season.

According to an Italian source, AS Roma Live, via Mila Reports, Aina has become a major target for both clubs due to his versatility and availability for a free transfer after the season.

The 28-year-old joined the Tricky Trees from Torino in 2023, signing a one-year contract. Following an impressive season, the English side announced another one-year extension on May 21, 2024.

Forest is yet to open negotiations with the Nigerian, who is not short of suitors being currently being monitored by a host of European clubs.

“There is interest in Ola Aina, as relayed via ASRomaLive.it. He is also at the top of AS Roma’s shortlist for a potential move in the future,” the Milan report wrote.
