Miles Teller & Casey Affleck To Star In Manhunt Thriller ‘Wild Game’ For Range & Endurance Media; Capstone Launching For EFM

EXCLUSIVE: Top Gun: Maverick and Whiplash actor Miles Teller is set to star with Oscar winner Casey Affleck (Manchester By The Sea) in manhunt thriller Wild Game, from Oscar-nominated screenwriter Jason Hall (American Sniper) who will direct.

Two-time Oscar nominee Fred Berger (A Complete Unknown, La La Land) and Brian Kavanaugh Jones (Longlegs, The Bikeriders) are producing for Range, alongside Hall and Endurance’s Steve Richards (Afterburn). Endurance is financing and filming is being lined up for spring.

Capstone Pictures will introduce the project to international buyers at this week’s European Film Market in Berlin, with company CEO Christian Mercuri at the company’s Berlin office at the Mandala. CAA Media Finance, Range Select and UTA Independent Film Group are co-representing domestic sales.

Pic is adapted by Jason Hall from the novel of the same name by Frank Bergon, based on true events. The synopsis reads: “When Fish and Game officer Jack Irigaray (Casey Affleck) joins a routine poacher arrest in the Black Rock Desert, a deadly encounter with renegade Claude Dallas (Miles Teller) shatters his reality and propels him into a relentless quest for vengeance — one that blurs the line between justice and obsession.”

Teller and Hall previously teamed up on 2017 Universal Pictures movie Thank You For Your Service, which Hall wrote and directed.

We’ve had a great collaboration in the past on Thank You For Your Service, and I know he’s going to bring incredible depth to this story. Claude Dallas is such a complex and layered character—tough, relentless, and living by his own code. I can’t wait to get started with this team”
