Miley Cyrus excluded her dad, Billy Ray Cyrus, from her acceptance speech at the 2024 Grammys after her song “Flowers” won the award for record of the year.
The “Hannah Montana” star thanked her team and producers before giving shout-outs to her loved ones in the audience at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles on Sunday.
“My mommy, my sister, my love, my main gays because look how good I look,” she said, referencing Tish Cyrus, Brandi Cyrus, Maxx Morando and her stylists, respectively.
Miley, who rocked five outfits throughout the ceremony, notably concluded her speech by adding, “I don’t think I forgot anyone — but I might have forgotten underwear.”
“Flowers” also received the award for best pop solo performance earlier in the night, marking the “Wrecking Ball” singer’s first-ever Grammy win.

The speculation started last August when Miley’s siblings Noah Cyrus and Braison Cyrus skipped their mother Tish’s wedding to “Prison Break” star Dominic Purcell.

Then, in October, Noah, 24, fueled chatter of a rift when she commented about Miley’s “disrespect” on a TikTok video of the former Disney Channel star calling the “July” singer “an emo kid.”
Fans have surmised that the drama began in April 2022 when Tish, 56, filed for divorce from Billy Ray, 62.
The former couple were married for nearly 30 years but had separated before.
The “Achy Breaky Heart” singer has since moved on, too, marrying fellow musician Johanna “Firerose” Hodges last October.
