Nick Jonas came in like a wrecking ball.

Miley Cyrus and Selena Gomez only “got along intermittently” during their Disney Channel days due to drama over their mutual ex, according to a fellow former child star.

“Wizards of Waverly Place” alum Jennifer Stone explained Monday why the actresses did not share scenes together in the show’s 2009 crossover episode with “Hannah Montana” and “Suite Life on Deck.”

Stone, 31, recalled, “It was, like, high school. Like, they both dated Nick. I think Miley dated him first and then Selena dated him, and then it was just messy high school nonsense.”

She went on to clarify during the “Wizards of Waverly Pod” episode, “They’re fine now. They’re all good now. But, yeah, it was high school BS.”

Jonas, 31, dated Cyrus, also 31, from 2006 to 2007, with the couple appearing in a crossover “Me and Mr. Jonas and Mr. Jonas and Mr. Jonas” episode amid their romance.

“That changed girls for Nick forever,” Kevin Jonas joked in the brothers’s 2019 “Chasing Happiness” documentary. “When he met Miley, I think that kid’s head exploded.”

Cyrus wrote her 2008 song “7 Things” about their breakup — which Nick confirmed a decade later.

The “Jealous” singer moved on with Gomez, 32, later in 2008, and the couple had called it quits by the time “Wizards on Deck with Hannah Montana” filmed.

Gomez and the Jonas Brothers member briefly got back together in 2010.

Nick went on to date singer Delta Goodrem and pageant queen Olivia Culpo before marrying Priyanka Chopra in 2018, with whom he shares a 2-year-old daughter named Malti.

Cyrus and Gomez, meanwhile, have used social media to make it clear they remain amicable in recent years.

In 2020, the “Only Murders in the Building” star revealed her bipolar diagnosis during Cyrus’ “Bright Minded” livestream.

Gomez gave the “Flowers” singer’s music a shout-out in an Instagram caption three years later.

As for their love lives, Gomez started dating music producer Benny Blanco last year, while Cyrus has been in a relationship with drummer Maxx Morando since 2021.
