Milo Manheim & Daniel Durant Share Lead Role in Deaf West's Innovative New Take on 'American Idiot' Musical in L.A.

The hit Green Day musical American Idiot is back in an all-new production in Los Angeles and there’s an innovative new twist.

Center Theatre Group teamed up with Deaf West for a new revival of the Broadway musical, featuring an ensemble of both Deaf and hearing actors, performing simultaneously in American Sign Language and Spoken English.

Zombies actor Milo Manheim and CODA actor Daniel Durant share the lead role of Johnny, with Milo singing the role while Daniel acts out the part. They have both competed on Dancing With the Stars in the past.

The Sandman actor Mason Alexander Park, who recently wrapped a run in Cabaret on the West End, takes on the role of St. Jimmy, the character Billie Joe Armstrong played in several stints in the Broadway production.

Due to popular demand, the run has been extended through November 16. Get your tickets now while you still can!
