Mina Shirakawa is back in AEW.

On the November 13 episode of AEW Dynamite, Shirakawa was interviewed backstage. She noted that she was looking forward to AEW Women’s World Champion Mariah May’s match on the November 16 episode of AEW Collision. Shirakawa said that they would have a champagne celebration when May won.

Harley Cameron interrupted and noted that some people said that Mina was the Harley Cameron of Japan. Cameron welcomed Shirakawa and challenged her to a match on AEW Collision. She said that they would go “tit for tit.” Shirakawa accepted the challenge and said she would see Cameron on AEW Collision.

The match on AEW Collision will mark Shirakawa’s first time competing in an AEW ring since August. Since then, she has wrestled for STARDOM, RevPro, and NJPW.

Mina Shirakawa On Mariah May

Shirakawa recently spoke with WrestleZone’s Troy Gonzales, and she emphasized her belief that she could bring the old Mariah May back.

“I was really happy when Mariah became the AEW Women’s World Champion,” Shirakawa said. “As a former partner of Mariah’s, I was so proud to see how her hard work in Japan led her to emerging to the top so soon after arriving in AEW. But the sparkling, fungoing Mariah is gone.

“I believe I am the only one who can bring Mariah back. I want the old Mariah back. And I want the two of us to team up again and become the strongest women’s tag team in AEW. I can’t wait to go back to see Mariah.”
