Mina Shirakawa returned on the August 14 episode of AEW Dynamite.
STARDOM star Mina Shirakawa appeared in a backstage segment on the show. She was asked about Mariah May turning on AEW Women’s World Champion Toni Storm. Shirakawa noted that she had not spoken with either one of them since May’s betrayal. She said that she was shocked and heartbroken by what had happened, as they loved each other. Shirakawa said she still loved them both.
She also stated that she had never seen May be so vicious, or Storm so vengeful.
Shirakawa had a brief run in AEW leading into AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. She feuded with Storm, and they had a dynamic rivalry that tied in Mina’s history with May. Storm beat Shirakawa to retain her title at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door. Storm, May, and Shirakawa celebrated together after the bell.
