Mini Formula 1 Drivers Steal the Show at Japanese Grand Prix, 1 Meets Their Real Driver!

The Japanese Grand Prix is taking place on Sunday (April 6), and the lead up has been happening for the past couple days.

Ahead of the third F1 race of the 2025 season, there were a few fans that caught the attention of fans from all over the world online, but even from a couple of the Formula 1 drivers themselves.

Three young fans were dressed up in replica race suits as Max Verstappen, Charles Leclerc and Lando Norris.

On Saturday (April 5), the mini Charles got to actually meet the real Charles, and was featured in videos from the Ferrari team and the F1′s Instagram accounts.

“It’s QUALI TIME 👊,” the Scuderia Ferrari account captioned their post of mini Charles walking through the paddock and posing in front of the No 16 car.

Charles Leclerc himself even posed for photos and signed his helmet – so cool!

At one point in the day, Charles‘ teammate Lewis Hamilton even saw the minis and took photos/video of the young fans all dressed up.

The mini drivers then returned on race day for the Japanese Grand Prix on Sunday, which is where they are pictured here!
