‘Mirzapur’ Season 3 Becomes Prime Video’s Most-Watched Show In India; Fourth Season Confirmed

Since its July 5 launch, the third season of crime drama Mirzapur has become the most-watched show on Prime Video in India, notching views across 98% of India’s pin codes on the launch weekend, according to the streamer.

Unsuprising then that Prime Video has now confirmed that a fourth season of the Hindi-language show is in the works.

Watched by Prime Video viewers in over 180 countries, Mirzapur has featured in the Top 10 Trending list on Prime Video in over 85 countries worldwide, including the U.S., UK, Canada and Australia.

The ten-episode drama stars Pankaj Tripathi, Ali Fazal, Shweta Tripathi Sharma, Rasika Dugal and Vijay Varma, among others. Produced by Excel Media and Entertainment and created by Karan Anshuman, Mirzapur Season 3 is directed by Gurmmeet Singh and Anand Iyer.

The show follows a tough millionaire carpet exporter and the crime boss, whose power-hungry son want s to inherit father’s legacy. He crosses an upstanding lawyer, and his sons and soon a game of ambition, power and greed is underway.
