‘Misogynistic’ Liam Payne slammed for telling girlfriend Kate Cassidy she looks ‘nice and covered up for once’

That’s what makes her beautiful, apparently.

Fans called out Liam Payne for making a “misogynistic” comment to his girlfriend, Kate Cassidy, in a new TikTok video.

After the influencer, 25, showed her followers her all-black outfit Monday ahead of a sushi dinner in England, the former One Direction member, 30, told her with a straight face, “You look good. Nice and covered up for once.”

Cassidy then awkwardly giggled and cut the camera.

Social media users flooded the comments section of the post, with many slamming Payne for his remark.

The clip also went viral on X, where a fan reposted it and amassed more than 5 million views by Wednesday.

“Liam’s giving off major villain vibes! If he’s this bold on camera, who knows what he’s like off-camera!” one X user responded.

Payne has not publicly responded to the backlash, and his reps did not immediately return Page Six’s request for comment.

The pop star has been dating Cassidy on and off since late 2022.

Payne previously romanced models Aliana Mawla and Maya Henry as well as Girls Aloud member Cheryl Cole, with whom he shares a 7-year-old son named Bear.
