MJF is ready to go.

MJF was banged up at the end of his run with the AEW World Championship, as he worked through some significant injuries, including a torn labrum. After he lost the title to Samoa Joe at AEW Worlds End, he was absent until he returned at AEW Double or Nothing in May. MJF has since returned to the ring, as he beat RUSH on the June 19 episode of AEW Dynamite.

Speaking with FOX 5 New York, MJF was asked whether he was “ready to go” following his injury.

“I’m ready to go 110 million perfect, I feel great,” MJF said. “I look great. Let’s be honest, can we get a shot of these guys [shows his abs]. I’m ready, I’m ready, I’m absolutely ready.”

MJF On Re-Signing With AEW

During the interview, MJF was also asked about re-signing with AEW. He emphasized that he believes in the company.

“Look, it was a very easy decision for me, mainly because Tony Khan is paying me an exorbitant amount of money,” he said. “But outside of that, I also believe in AEW. I believe that it’s where the best wrestle. I believe that we have some of the most top-tier elite talent you get to see in the world today.”
