MJF might be back wrestling full-time once again, but his body still isn’t at 100% due to prior injuries.
All Elite Wrestling‘s MJF recently spoke with Jack King of Cultaholic. When asked about his health status after taking several months off at the beginning of 2024 to heal up from multiple injuries, Friedman admitted he’s still not 100% yet.
“I’ve come back from injury and I will tell you candidly, so here’s a little clickbait for you. I’m still not 100 percent,” MJF revealed. “I had to come back because I don’t know if you noticed this but the show without me blew a bag of d*cks.
“So I came back a little bit earlier than I probably physically should have. The funny thing is I was still able to beat RUSH, Templario, soon it’ll be Michael Oku, Kyle Fletcher, and Will Ospreay, and I’m gonna do it again on August 25th. And that’s me at 80 percent.”
MJF is scheduled to defend the AEW American (International) Championship against Will Ospreay later this month at All In.
