Warangal:
Warangal West MLA Naini Rajender Reddy announced that the comprehensive family survey initiated by the government has gained national attention and will bring many benefits to the public in the future. On Thursday, a special event was held at Kazipet Chowrastha to carry out the survey, which will gather important details about households, including social, political, economic, educational, employment, and caste data.
During the event, the MLA encouraged people to cooperate with the survey teams, called enumerators, who will visit every household over three days. They will place stickers on each house to show it has been surveyed. He also mentioned that the government has been promoting this survey for the past week to ensure everyone is aware of it.
City Mayor Gundu Sudharani praised the initiative, saying that Chief Minister Revanth Reddy is conducting a large-scale socio-economic survey that has never been done before in any other state. She added that this survey, carried out in Telangana, will serve as an example for the rest of the country, ensuring fair treatment for all groups in society.
Hanumakonda District Collector Pravinya explained that the district includes both rural and urban areas. To manage the survey in Greater Warangal, the region has been split into 800 blocks. Government teachers and Anganwadi workers have been appointed as enumerators, and supervisors will oversee their work.
The Collector also mentioned that the survey will happen in two phases. In the first phase, stickers will be placed on houses over three days. In the second phase, detailed information will be collected from each household. She urged family heads to keep important documents like their Aadhaar card, ration card, PAN card, and bank passbook ready to make the process easier for the enumerators.
Several officials, including Greater Warangal Municipal Corporation Commissioner Ashwini Tanaji Wakade, corporators Jakkula Ravinder Yadav and Vijayashree Rajali, Kazipet MRO Singh, and Kazipet Municipal Deputy Commissioner Ravinder, were present at the event.
