Luka Modric has not lost everything this season with his club Real Madrid.

Real Madrid coach Carlo Ancelotti has asked Luka Modric to join his coaching staff.

According to local journalist Ramón Álvarez, Ancelotti wants Modric to start his career path with them. He offered him to start working on his staff for the 2024/2025 season if he decides to retire from football.

Modric deep in thought

The midfielder appreciates the offer, although he initially rejected it, believing that he wants to continue playing, whether at the Bernabéu or elsewhere.

Modric, 37, said this season: “My only condition for staying was that they treat me as a competitive player, as I have been so far, and not that they keep me in the team based on my past merits.”

This season, the Croatian is more often a substitute than a starter. He only played 28 matches and 16 as a starter. In terms of cumulative minutes, he only has 15e playing time for the entire squad.
