Luka Modric has achieved a historic record with Real Madrid.

Real Madrid have got their 2023-2024 season off to a perfect start. Facing Atalanta Bergamo on Wednesday night in the European Super Cup, the Merengue won 2-0 thanks to goals from Federico Valverde and Kylian Mbappé, who scored his very first goal in his very first match in his new colours.

Modric overtakes Nacho

The White House has thus added another trophy to its collection. Just like Luka Modric, who has simply become the most decorated player in the history of the Madrid club. This Wednesday evening in Warsaw, the 38-year-old Croatian midfielder lifted his 27th trophy with Real. The former Tottenham player overtakes Nacho (26 titles), who left this summer for Saudi Arabia.
