'Monsters' Actor Nicholas Alexander Chavez Attends Premiere of His Second Ryan Murphy Series, 'Grotesquerie,' with Niecy Nash-Betts & More!

Nicholas Alexander Chavez stars in Ryan Murphy‘s new Netflix series Monsters: The Lyle and Erik Menendez Story and he’s also starring in his new FX series Grotesquerie!

The 25-year-old actor walked the red carpet alongside the rest of the cast at the New York City premiere on Monday night (September 23) at Spring Studios.

Nicholas was joined by co-stars Niecy Nash-Betts (who brought wife Jessica Betts), Courtney B. Vance, Micaela Diamond, and Raven Goodwin.

While they didn’t pose together at the event, Nicholas was joined by his girlfriend, who is also on the show.

In the 10-episode drama, a series of heinous crimes have unsettled a small community. “Detective Lois Tryon” (Nash-Betts) feels these crimes are eerily personal, as if someone—or something—is taunting her. At home, Lois grapples with a strained relationship with her daughter, a husband in long-term hospital care and her own inner demons. With no leads and unsure of where to turn, she accepts the help of “Sister Megan,” (Diamond) a nun and journalist with the Catholic Guardian. Sister Megan, with her own difficult past, has seen the worst of humanity, yet she still believes in its capacity for good. Lois, on the other hand, fears the world is succumbing to evil. As Lois and Sister Megan string together clues, they find themselves ensnared in a sinister web that only seems to raise more questions than answers.

The show premieres on Wednesday, September 25 on FX and the next day on Hulu.

FYI: Nicholas is wearing Brunello Cucinelli.
