Montez Ford reflected on The Street Profits‘ losses. He also seemingly referenced Bobby Lashley’s looming departure from WWE.
In a post on Instagram ahead of the July 26th episode of WWE SmackDown, Montez Ford looked forward to the tag team gauntlet match on the show. He wrote that he was tired. He said that he was tired of being denied, of waiting, of fighting, and of having company around that “don’t care.”
Ford stated that he was tired of the world not knowing who they were, tired of every version o The Bloodline, and tired of not being a champion. Ford also noted, “We’ve lost a lot this year, from family members, and even up to this week, our own leader.” He vowed not to lose and to show the world who they were. He ended the message by saying that he wasn’t born to be tired, he was born to win.
The Street Profits went on to lose the match, as The Bloodline emerged victorious.
In his post, Ford was seemingly referring to Bobby Lashley. Lashley has been absent in recent months. Lashley had been paired with The Street Profits and B-Fab. His WWE contract is reportedly coming up, and he is expected to leave the company.
