Dakota Mortensen is sharing his hair transplant journey. The 31-year-old Mormon Wives star and real estate agent shared a series of videos showcasing his hair transplant experience. In one TikTok video, Dakota amusingly danced around wearing a surgical cap and gown an empty room at the facility where he underwent the transplant, Utah Facial Plastics, to the sound of Kendrick Lamar’s “Not Like Us.” “When they leave you alone in a room you shouldn’t be left alone in,” he wrote, promising the “full process on my hair transplant” later in the day. “#hairtransplant,” he added. “#balding #daddy.” Keep reading to find out more… In the follow-up video, he shared the full process of his procedure, which kicked off at 7 a.m. local time. Viewers got a glimpse of his hair being partially shaved off from behind, plus a marking on his forehead. “So that’s my new hairline, guys,” he explained, noting that he thinks he looks like a “Viking” now. He also showed plastic surgeons beginning the procedure, as he said: “It feels like something’s squeezing my head.” The surgeon shared each step out loud, with Dakota declaring that the transplant was “the coolest thing I’ve ever done in my life.” He then showed off his post-op hairline in the car: “Alright guys, this is the final product,” he concluded. “It looks like a bunch of maggots, but I can assure you I’ll be looking like Fabio when it’s all said and done.” “Couldn’t show a lot cause of how bloody it was. 😂 But such a crazy process 🙌,” he added.
