Gabriel Moscardo has signed for Paris Saint-Germain. The Brazilian midfielder arrives from Corinthians.

After several twists and turns, the Gabriel Moscardo soap opera is coming to an end. The Brazilian midfielder now belongs to Paris Saint-Germain.

“The deal is done. Moscardo was sold to Paris Saint-Germain. The story is over. He is no longer a Corinthians player”announced Augusto Melo, president of Corinthians, in the show Jogo Aberto, this Thursday. The leaders of the Auriverde club would have obtained the assurance of being paid by their Parisian counterparts. As a reminder, when Moscardo had his medical examination with the Rouge et Bleu, a foot injury had been detected. The 18-year-old, whose transfer price is estimated at 22 million euros, will be unavailable for three months.

“PSG wanted to operate and see afterwards, but that was out of the question. We are the Corinthians. The president of PSG said he wasn’t going to take any chances, so I told our legal department to request the boy’s return. We warned PSG and the club agreed to buy him with the risk linked to his operation, all the risks. We also required in the contract that we advance the sale through a fund to get the money sooner. They accepted, so he goes to PSG”specified the president of Corinthians.
