Newcastle United feature in a newly published report.
The report looking at the clubs with the most valuable collections of players in World football.
The CIES Football Observatory have compiled a list of the 100 clubs worldwide, whose footballers under contract have the highest aggregate transfer value.
This is including players on loan to other clubs, so not just the players who are in your current squad.
With a squad featuring many young stars bound by long-term contracts, as you can see, Real Madrid leads the way with the highest aggregate transfer value ever recorded for a football club, of €1.72billion (approx £1.44billion).
Manchester City are second in the list, with an etimated valuation of €1.47billion (approx £1.23billion).
Then Chelsea in third: €1.38billion (approx £115billion).
Considering the money spent by Manchester City in all areas of their club in this era, especially on player recruitment, no wonder they are so high.
Whilst Chelsea have spent a reported £1.5billion on signings in just over two years, since the new owners started their ridiculous spending in summer 2022.
Worth noting that whilst Real Madrid and Man City have 34 and 39 players respectively contributing to the overall value of their owned players. Chelsea have a ridiculous 54!
As you can also see below, Newcastle United come 22nd in World football with their collection of players.
Newcastle United have 35 players who add up to €544million (approx £455m), at an average of €15.5million (approx £13.0m) per player.
The six usual Premier League suspects feature in the top nine in World football.
Whilst Newcastle United are ranked ninth in Premier League terms, with both Brighton and Villa higher.
Brighton with a massive 48 players contributing, as like Chelsea they loan a lot of players out.
