IMG Credit: WWEOne more time? Retirement is a tricky subject in wrestling as there is always the chance that someone might return to the ring after a lengthy time away. It might be for a full time run, a short return to the ring, or one match in the right spot. Any of these can be exciting, and now a former WWE Superstar is teasing a return to the ring to help someone with their troubles.

This week’s NXT featured a match between Wendy Choo and Carlee Bright. Before the match, Choo sent a tweet to Bright, referring to her as “Kelly Kelly’s daughter”. Kelly herself responded, asking if “mother” needed to come out of retirement and telling Bright “I got you”. The match took place with Choo winning and Kelly did not appear. Kelly retired from full time wrestling in 2012 but has appeared in multiple battle royals since then.

It was a fight. Check out what Choo is messing with:
Opinion: This is one of those teases that does sort of fit as Kelly and Bright have some similarities. I’m not sure I can imagine her actually making a return for what feels like a pretty low level story, but there is something interesting about the idea of Kelly making an appearance like this. If nothing else, it could be quite the nice boost for Choo if she gets a victory over Kelly should she show up.
