The Motor City Machine Guns are free agents, and they are believed to be heading to AEW.
The Motor City Machine Guns (Chris Sabin and Alex Shelley) recently wrapped up with TNA Wrestling, as their contracts were up at the end of March. They last wrestled for the company at the television tapings in Philadelphia on March 23.
Mike Johnson of PWInsider reports that, within TNA, there has been more of a realization that the Motor City Machine Guns are gone. Previously, some in the company hoped that they would return to work some dates. Johnson writes that some in TNA believe that Sabin and Shelley will sign with AEW, and that will be their landing spot.
The Motor City Machine Guns previously made their AEW debut at AEW All Out 2022. There, they teamed up with Jay Lethal in a loss against Wardlow and FTR.
Sabin and Shelley are three-time TNA World Tag Team Champions, and they both held the world title at different points. Sabin is an 10-time X-Division Champion, and Shelley held the gold as well. They also held tag titles in GCW, ROH, and NJPW, among other companies.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
