José Mourinho has chosen to live in the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel in Istanbul, where he occupies a suite costing more than €1,000 per night. The Fenerbahçe coach hopes to bring the club back to the top despite a difficult start to the season.

Since his arrival at Fenerbahçe, José Mourinho has lived an atypical life, true to his reputation. The ‘Special One’ chose to reside at the Four Seasons Hotel Bosphorus, a 5-star property located on the banks of the Bosphorus in Istanbul, declining the club’s offer to find him a home.

The move is reminiscent of his time at Manchester United, where he also lived in a hotel for more than two years. In Istanbul, Mourinho enjoys suites costing more than 1,000 euros per night and a strict routine, between morning swimming and simple meals: chicken soup, margherita pizza and ice cream.

A routine that does not go unnoticed

The Portuguese manager, despite the luxury that surrounds him, remains focused on his mission: bringing Fenerbahçe back to the top of Turkish football after a 10-year drought without a league title. However, after a difficult start to the season, with 8 points behind Galatasaray, the “Mou” knows that expectations are high.

The club and fans will be hoping his success comes quickly, starting with the upcoming showdown against his former club, Manchester United, on Thursday night in the Europa League.
