Having beaten Lugano, José Mourinho’s Fenerbahçe will be Lille’s opponents in the third preliminary round of the Champions League.

This was the expected matchup during the draw. Fenerbahçe will indeed be Lille’s opponent in a week’s time for the 3rd preliminary round of the Champions League.

José Mourinho’s team eliminated the Swiss team from Lugano in the second round. Winners 4-3 in the first leg, the Turks won 2-1 in the return leg on Tuesday evening, thanks to Dzeko (59th) and Szymanski (90th+3), while Belhadj (7th) had given the Swiss hope.

Having beaten Celta de Vigo (3-1) on Tuesday evening in their last friendly match, with goals from Haraldsson, Gudmundsson and Bayo, Losc can now prepare for this crucial clash for their start to the season. The first leg will take place on Tuesday 6 August or Wednesday 7 August in Valenciennes, and the return leg will be the following week in Istanbul.
