Today, May 30, is Cinema Lovers Day and fans across the nation can celebrate it as Mahi Day too. Why? Tickets to watch the cricket-centric drama will cost you a minimal Rs 99 only today. The Association of India has announced Cinema Lovers Day on May 31st, which is why cinemas across India, including major chains like PVR-INOX and Cinepolis, are selling tickets at Rs 99 to boost footfalls in cinema halls.
Mr & Mrs Mahi Tickets at Rs 99
As per a media report, Mr & Mrs Mahi sold 2.15 lakh tickets through top national chains like PVRInox and Cinepolis on the final day of advance booking. In addition, the film also sold 6,300 tickets via MovieMax, capitalizing on Cinema Lovers Day (Friday) where tickets were offered at a flat rate of Rs 99 in standard formats.
Mr & Mrs Mahi is worth a watch?
Giving the Janhvi Kapoor-Rajkummar Rao starrer 3 1/2 stars, Bollywood Bubble reviewed the film saying, “It is a feel-good love story that’s filled with a strong passion for cricket and a good amount of family drama. Janhvi and Rajkummar’s chemistry as newlyweds and their trust and support for each other give the sport drams a freshness we haven’t seen on the big screen for a long time.” It further read, “Do watch it in theatres for an impressive experience.”
