Mr. Stone will return to the ring on the February 13 episode of WWE NXT. There, he and Von Wagner will face Noam Dar and Oro Mensah. The bout will mark a rare chance for Stone to compete, as he has mostly worked as a manager since he joined WWE.

Speaking with Justin Barrasso of Sports Illustrated, Mr. Stone discussed his current run in NXT, which has seen his kids get involved in the storyline.

“My kids are involved, my wife was on TV a few months ago, It’s so much fun, I’m so grateful, and I’m not taking any of it for granted.”

Mr. Stone also commented on his pairing with Von Wagner and highlighted their history. He stated that Wagner puts in the work, and he continues to improve.

“I’m there to help Von in and out of the ring,” Stone said. “He’s been around wrestling his entire life, and you can see he loves it.

“We started at the PC together on the same day. The work he puts in is nonstop. He’s willing and wants to work, and he keeps getting better.”

Mr. Stone Says He’ll Give It His All

As for the match on Tuesday night, Mr. Stone stated that he is coming into it with all his heart. He noted that it will be the first time his kids will get to see him wrestle.

“I’m coming into this match with all my heart,” Stone said. “My wife and I didn’t show our twins the match against Bron Breakker when I got slaughtered, so this is the first time they can actually see me wrestle. It’s the first time a lot of WWE fans will see me wrestle, too. I’m going to put everything I have into this match to make it worth seeing.”

WrestleZone will have coverage of NXT as it airs on Tuesday.
