MrBeast Co-Host’s Alleged Grooming Victim Changes Tune, Condemns Interactions

The alleged “grooming” target of MrBeast‘s former co-host, Ava Kris Tyson, is no longer defending her.

Tyson, who is transgender, dropped out of MrBeast’s organization earlier this week for comments made to a then 13-year-old, known only as Lava, when she was 20.

Lava, now himself 20, initially branded the allegations of grooming as “massive lies.” But now, after apparently reviewing the Tyson messages on the Discord server again, he has changed his mind.

“These conversations should not have happened with people at the age I was at the time; I strongly condemn them,” said a statement by Lava.

“I was a minor in this situation and not the adult influencer who shouldn’t have allowed this to happen. I did not see this as wrong at the time.”

However, Lava later shared another post on X, saying: “This is only related to the Discord server, and not any other statements I have made regarding Ava Tyson.”

MrBeast himself has condemned his former colleague.

“That said, I’ve seen enough online and taken immediate action to remove Ava from the company, my channel, and any association with MrBeast. I do not condone or support any of the inappropriate actions.”
