For several months, the Manchester United takeover project has been on the table. Last December, the boss of INEOS, Jim Ratcliffe, already owner of OGC Nice, concluded an agreement to obtain 25% of the Red Devils’ shares. For this, the businessman paid 1.4 billion euros. And the project is starting to take shape, with the recruitment of several members of management.

According to our information, INEOS and Newcastle sporting director Dan Ashworth have reached an agreement in principle for him to become the new technical director of the Mancunian club. At the same time, a recruitment manager is still being sought.
