New blow for Anthony Martial. Absent due to injury since December, the French Manchester United striker underwent successful surgery last Friday due to a groin problem. The Red Devil will be absent from the field for 10 weeks, which should therefore compromise a potential temporary departure during this winter transfer window.

“Manchester United striker Anthony Martial has undergone successful surgery for groin pain and will be out of action for around 10 weeks for rehabilitation. We wish Anthony a speedy recovery and look forward to his return”indicates the Mancunian club in its press release on its 28-year-old player.
