Now co-owner of Manchester United, INEOS boss Jim Ratcliffe wants to restore the English club’s image. The businessman wants to compete with rival Manchester City with a three-year plan to return the Red Devils to the top of English football. Coach Erik ten Hag, who arrived in 2022, is on the same wavelength as his new boss.

“Do I trust him? Absolutely, I have that feeling. We have had so many discussions, we have the same ambition, we are aligned in the process”commented the Dutch technician, in comments reported by the Manchester Evening News.
