After a good season at Bologna under Thiago Motta (11 goals in 34 Serie A matches), Joshua Zirkzee (23 years old) will leave Italy to join England. The Dutch international striker (2 caps, 0 goals) will in fact sign with Manchester United.
The Athletic informs us that Zirkzee, who was also courted by AC Milan, will fly to England this Thursday to undergo his medical, after the elimination of the Netherlands in the semi-finals of the Euro. MU paid €42.5 million (payable over three years) to secure his services. The player will sign until 2029.
