William Troost-Ekong has said that Ahmed Musa is still the Super Eagles captain, reports Completesports.com.
The 31-year-old has not been called up by the three-time African champions since the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations in Cote d’Ivoire.
Musa linked up with four-time Nigeria Premier Football League (NPFL) Kano Pillars for a third stint last week.
The forward netted twice in Kano Pillars’ 2-0 victory over Sunshine Stars last weekend.
Musa recently said he has not retired from international football.
