The French team is in the final of the 2024 Olympic Games. Les Bleus won this Monday evening in the semi-final against Egypt with a score of 3 goals to 1 in extra time.

Jean-Philippe Mateta found the back of the net twice and was imitated by Michael Olise who made the break at the end of the match. The latter seduced his world during his Olympic Games including the German Jamal Musiala who will be his future teammate at Bayern Munich next season.

The number 10 of the Maanschaft did not hide his admiration for the Frenchman and admitted that he was looking forward to seeing him again in the Bavarian squad.

Yes, he is a great player. I haven’t seen him for years. We played together at Chelsea when we were young, so it will be cool to talk to him again and see what his life has been like in the last few years since we went our separate ways. He has a lot of quality and is doing very well at the Olympics. We will all be happy when he is with us,” he said in an interview with the evening newspaper.

Before continuing: “I haven’t spoken with him yet. I’m going to let him focus on the Olympics before everything starts here. But most of the conversations will come naturally when he’s here.”
