Throughout his wrestling career, former WWE United States Champion MVP has been a part of many multiple stables. He has teamed up with the World’s Strongest Man Mark Henry, he has held the WWE Tag Team Championship alongside Matt Hardy as well.

But one of his most talked about factions is one of his most recent ones, The Hurt Business. The faction comprised of MVP, Bobby Lashley, Shelton Benjamin, and Cedric Alexander.

The faction was one of the most successful groups in WWE. At one point in time, the group had all the top titles on Monday Night Raw. Lashley was the WWE World Heavyweight Champion while Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin were the WWE Raw Tag Team Champions.

Recently, MVP took to Twitter to reveal that he wanted Ricochet to also be a part of the Hurt Business faction. But since he was told that he could only choose either Cedric Alexander or Ricochet, he decided to go with Alexander. MVP claimed that he felt Alexander required the boost more than Ricochet.

“True story. When we were forming The Hurt Business, I asked for BOTH Ricochet AND Cedric Alexander. We were told we could only have 1. We chose Cedric because we felt he needed our association more than Ricochet did. I always thought Ricky O would be a big star on his own,” MVP tweeted.

The reason for MVP to share this story at this time seems to be because of the reports that Ricochet wants to part ways with WWE. The One and Only was also seemingly written off television this past Monday. Bron Breakker attacked him and sent him to a local medical facility.
