Super Eagles midfielder Fisayo Dele-Bashiru has disclosed that his brother Tom Dele-Bashiru’s success motivated him to improve his game.
The Nigerian international, who has scored two goals for the senior national team made this known in a chat with Making of Champions.

He noted that while he was making his mark at Man City’s age-grade football, he never had the chance to play for the main team.
“When I was growing up, he was my biggest motivation,” Fisayo said. “He was doing so well while I struggled, especially during my time at Manchester City. Seeing him thrive pushed me to improve myself.”
Dele-Bashiru is expected to miss the Super Eagles final 2025 AFCON qualifier against Rwanda on Monday due to injury.
