Naomi Biden gives birth to first baby as Joe announces ‘good news’ during CA wildfire press conference

President Joe Biden has become a great-grandfather.

The president announced that his granddaughter Naomi Biden had given birth to her and husband Peter Neal’s first baby on Wednesday during a press conference about the California fires.

While speaking about how “astonishing” the fires spreading through the Palisades, Eaton and Hurst counties are and how his granddaughter’s home is at risk of burning down, he said, “But the good news is I’m a great-grandfather as of today.”

He also revealed that the couple had welcomed a baby boy.

The 31-year-old revealed her pregnancy news on Election Day in November 2024, debuting her bump in an Instagram Story mirror selfie.

“(we) voted,” Naomi captioned the social media upload.

The expectant star wore an all-black outfit in the photo, with an “I Voted” sticker placed on her budding belly.

Naomi and Neal started dating in 2018 after meeting in New York City through a mutual friend.

The former White House intern proposed to his partner in September 2021, with the bride-to-be showing off her engagement ring via Instagram.

“Forever,” she wrote.

The couple walked down the aisle the following year, getting married at the White House during Joe’s time in office.

“Peter and I are endlessly grateful to my Nana and Pop for the opportunity to celebrate our wedding at the White House,” Naomi tweeted before the November 2022 nuptials.

“We can’t wait to make our commitment to one another official and for what lies ahead,” the lawyer continued.

Naomi is the eldest of Hunter’s five children.

He welcomed her in December 1993 with then-wife Kathleen Buhle, with whom he also shares daughters Finnegan, 24, and Maisy, 23.

After the former couple’s 2017 divorce, Hunter moved on with wife Melissa Cohen and welcomed son Beau, now 4.

He is also the father of a daughter named Navy with Lunden Alexis Roberts, DNA tests confirmed in 2019.
