Naomi stands out as one of the most athletically skilled and gifted in-ring performers currently gracing WWE. After SmackDown this week, Naomi was in action but sadly, she ended up losing the match.
This week on the July 5th edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Naomi played a supportive role for Bayley during her rematch against Piper Niven, originally from Clash at the Castle (without the Women’s Championship on the line).
As Bayley’s ally and former Women’s Champion, Naomi was at ringside and proved instrumental in neutralizing Chelsea Green. However, amidst the chaos, she was taken out by IYO SKY.
After SmackDown went off this year, Naomi and the 17-year veteran IYO SKY faced off, with the Japanese star and former WWE Women’s Champion emerging victorious in their encounter. This did not help Naomi whatsoever as fans feel she definitely has to win the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match.
We will have to wait and see where Naomi will be able to cement her legacy and win the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match on July 6th, as fans would more than love to see her succeed.
