It was the soap opera of the summer for Naples. On the transfer market after four seasons spent with the Partenopei, Victor Osimhen was not left at the disposal of Antonio Conte who bet on Romelu Lukaku to play up front this season. Having left the Neapolitan plans, Victor Osimhen was put up for sale.

Despite a release clause of 130 million euros and the figure of 60 million euros that came out at the end of the transfer window, the player under contract until June 2026 has not left Napoli. Chelsea decided to bet on Jadon Sancho to strengthen their attack when Al-Ahli preferred to take Ivan Toney from Brentford. Left stranded, Victor Osimhenn’has also not been included on the Serie A list for this season by Napoli.

Galatasaray ready to put in the resources

In an emergency situation, the player must find a way out or risk remaining without playing at least until this winter. While the transfer window is closed in the five biggest championships, it is open on the Turkish side. Galatasaray would like to take advantage of the deal according to Corriere dello Sport.

Thus the Istanbul team, which includes Dries Mertens and Mauro Icardi, would not be against the arrival of an additional attacker with Victor Osimhen. Discussions are currently underway between the various presidents for a dry loan estimated at eleven million euros. The Turkish club would also cover the player’s salary in full. Victor Osimhen will, perhaps, finally be able to leave.
