In the tough league, Naples and FC Barcelona hope to catch up in the Champions League.

The draw conceded by Napoli on Saturday against Genoa (1-1) will have had serious consequences. The Italian champion has in fact sacked his coach Walter Mazzarri to replace him with Francesco Calzona.

The new Napoli coach will be entitled to a baptism of fire against Barça in the first leg of the round of 16 of the Champions League. He only had 48 hours to prepare his team. At least he can count on an almost complete squad.

For its part, Barça, not to its advantage since the start of the season, won on the pitch of Celta Vigo (1-2), confirming its slight recovery. But several executives will be missing, including Gavi, Ferran Torres, Baldé and Marcos Alonso.

The probable composition of Naples

Meret – Di Lorenzo, Ostigard, Rrahmani, Mazzocchi – Zambo Anguissa, Lobotka, Cajuste – Politano, Osimhen, Kvaratskhelia

Barcelona’s probable line-up

Ter Stegen – Araujo, Koundé, Martinez, João Cancelo – De Jong, Christensen, Gündogan – Yamal, Lewandowski, Vitor Roque
