The Italian club Naples is finally inclined to let go of its Georgian star Khvicha Kvaratskhelia.

Napoli president Aurelio de Laurentiis is ready to part ways with Khvicha Kvaratskhelia if an agreement on a contract extension cannot be reached. News which should not leave the management of Paris SG indifferent. The French champions were seriously interested in this element during the previous transfer window.

According to the Italian media TMW, the two positions are very far apart and even if negotiations for a new lease continue and nothing says that an agreement will be finalized. Napoli are offering 6.5 million euros per year plus bonuses, while the winger’s agents are asking for 8 million euros per year to continue the adventure with the Partenopei.

Napoli lose patience with Kvaratskhelia

Napoli boss Aurelio De Laurentiis recently took stock of the situation: “There have been previous cases, if he leaves, we will deal with it. It is important to respect the wishes of the players, but also those of the club.”

Over the summer, the Neapolitan boss rejected a massive €100 million offer from PSG for Kvaratskhelia, at the request of coach Antonio Conte. Kvaratskhelia was also happy to stay, even though PSG offered him a contract worth €11 million per year. Currently, the Georgian earns less than 2 million euros per year in Naples.
