Italian champion last season, Giovanni Di Lorenzo and Napoli have had a season full of difficulties this year. Almost certain of not being European next season, the Italian right-back wants to leave. According to Corriere dello Sportthe player officially requested his transfer to his management, in particular because of the boos from his supporters.

Giovanni Di Lorenzo, however, has a long-term contract with Napoli; the player had renewed until 2028, with an option until 2029. The Napoli captain had been linked to Inter, who could sell Denzel Dumfries. It will therefore be necessary to convince Aurelio De Laurentiis who is very tough in business.
