Natalya is still standing and ready to tell her story.
The WWE Superstar announced she wrote a new book, Last Hart Standing: From the Dungeon to WWE. Nattie told Ariel Helwani that the book gave her a chance to tell her story, one that some people might not know. During the interview, she also shared how Booker T helped inspire the book title, and why it resonated with her for multiple reasons.
“It’s funny, I saw Booker T this morning. Booker T, he helped me come up with the title. He did an interview and he was asked which female Superstar he thought was the greatest of all time. And I was just shocked when he said me. I was like, ‘Wow, I’m blown away that Booker T would say that.’ Then I heard what he said.
“He said, ‘Because she’s the last motherf*cker breathing.’ I said I was going to drop an f-bomb,” Natalya joked. “And so, of course I’m a huge 2Pac fan, and Booker T said [that line] is from [2Pac’s song called] ‘Breathin.’’ And even for the women, I outlasted all of them. All the women that I started with, I’m still standing.”
Natalya had an epiphany after completing her book
Nattie said at the end of writing her book, she realized she didn’t need a WrestleMania main event or all of the titles because she’s still in WWE and doing what she loves at the highest level.
“That, to me, was just this epiphany that I had about my career. I’m so lucky I get to do what I love,” Natalya said. “I’m so grateful I get to work with such amazing people who are such incredible influences on me.”
Last Hart Beating will be released on October 28, 2025. The book is available now for pre-order on Amazon.
During the interview, Natalya also shared what inspired her to write her book, and what she hopes to achieve with it.
