At the end of his contract with Paris Saint-Germain next June, Keylor Navas will leave the capital club. The Spanish press echoed it this Saturday.
The information is not really new or surprising, but the outcome today seems inevitable: Keylor Navas will no longer be a Paris Saint-Germain player from next June. Under contract with the club in the French capital until the end of the current season, the Costa Rican goalkeeper will offer his services elsewhere in a few months. An essential link in PSG before Gianluigi Donnarumma was recruited in the summer of 2021, the former Real Madrid player lost his number one place and practically no longer plays in official matches.
It is therefore anything but a surprise that Keylor Navas is leaving. A.S. And Mundo Deportivo mentioned the information this Saturday recalling that the international goalkeeper had refused to be transferred again this winter, preferring to complete his contract to negotiate a nice signing bonus with his next club. This season, under the leadership of Luis Enrique, the thirty-seven-year-old man has only played four matches (two in the Coupe de France and two in Ligue 1).

Too little for a player of his caliber. With Paris, Navas has already won nine titles, including three championships and two Coupes de France. A list which could well grow even further since PSG is still in contention in all competitions this season, including the Champions League in which it will play the quarter-finals against FC Barcelona. A duel of choice that Keylor Navas will not contest, barring an injury or an unfortunate suspension of Gianluigi Donnarumma.
As for the rest of his career, the mystery remains for the Costa Rican. A quick trip to a Gulf country? Another experience in Europe? Several doors should not fail to open before him. PSG, which will have had him in its squad for five years, will lose a very talented player in any case.
