Photo Courtesy of WWEI remember it differently. We are officially in a new era of WWE with the company’s flagship weekly series, Monday Night Raw, moving to Netflix earlier this week. That is the kind of change that the company does not get to see very often and it opens up a variety of new worlds. However, one of those worlds might not be so accessible, as there have already been some changes made.

This week’s Monday Night Raw marked the show’s debut on Netflix and was held at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California. The show is available on Netflix but is described as “edited from a live broadcast.” According to PWInsider.com, there were some changes made to the show, with the biggest change being the removal of the Rock’s swearing from both the audio and the closed captioning. It is not clear if any other cuts were made.

Opinion: This isn’t the biggest surprise, as getting rid of minor things like this are not going to impact the show as a whole while also allowing Netflix to be a bit more attractive to sponsors. It is similar to what WWE has done for years and it really isn’t that big of a problem. Ultimately it makes sense and I would expect to see a lot more of it as the show keeps going.
