Netflix is raising their prices across multiple tiers in the United States.
As reported by CNN and other outlets, Netflix announced that they will raise their prices on most of their subscription tiers in the United States and Canada. This comes after they reported 19 million new subscribers in the last quarter of 2024.
Specifically, the standard monthly membership without ads will rise from $15.49 to $17.99, while a standard subscription with ads will increase by one dollar to $7.99. Netflix’s highest-priced premium tier will increase by $2 to $24.99.
“As we continue to invest in programming and deliver more value for our members, we will occasionally ask our members to pay a little more so that we can re-invest to further improve Netflix,” Netflix stated in a letter to investors.
WWE RAW premiered on Netflix on January 6th, and the show streams live on the streaming service every Monday. Various WWE content is now available on Netflix as well.
