WWE’s NXT brand presented Heatwave over the weekend, and Wes Lee suffered a loss to Oba Femi for the North American Championship. That was a sad moment for him, but brighter days may be around the corner.
WWE and TNA Wrestling have quite a partnership going on. They are trading some top stars, and it appears that could mean a popular stable will make their way to NXT.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that a faction could be appearing in NXT that hasn’t appeared before. The Rascalz, consisting of Wes Lee, former NXT and current TNA talent Zach Wentz, and TNA talent Trey Miguel, could be on their way.
This was previously reported as a possibility in June, and WWE’s stance on Wentz appearing softened well over a year ago. We will have to see how this pans out, but the TNA and NXT partnership may have some potential in the future.
