New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s G1 Climax 34 Quarterfinals Are Set

We are just days away from finding out who will win the G1 Climax 34 in New Japan Pro-Wrestling.

We now know that Zack Sabre Jr. and David Finlay have emerged as the winners of the A and B blocks respectively. Both men will receive a bye into the semi-finals of the G1 Climax.

The final standings of each block are as follows:

A Block:

Zack Sabre Jr. with a record of 7-2 for 14 points Shingo Takagi with a record of 5-4 for 10 points Great-O-Khan with a record of 5-4 for 10 points EVIL with a record of 5-4 for 10 points Tetsuya Naito with a record of 5-4 for 10 points SANADA with a record of 4-4 for 8 points Jake Lee with a record of 4-4 for 8 points Gabe Kidd with a record of 4-5 for 8 points Shota Umino with a record of 4-5 for 8 points Callum Newman with a record of 2-7 for 4 points

B Block:

David Finlay with a record of 6-3 for 12 points Konosuke Takeshita with a record of 5-4 for 10 points Yota Tsuji with a record of 5-4 for 10 points Jeff Cobb with a record of 5-4 for 10 points Ren Narita with a record of 5-4 for 10 points Hirooki Goto with a record of 4-5 for 8 points Yuya Uemura with a record of 4-5 for 8 points HENARE with a record of 4-5 for 8 points Oleg Boltin with a record of 4-5 for 8 points El Phantasmo with a record of 3-6 for 6 points

New Japan Pro-Wrestling’s G1 Climax 34 finals takes place on August 18

During the quarterfinals on August 15, Shingo Takagi takes on Great O-Khan from the A Block while AEW’s Konosuke Takeshita takes on Yota Tsuji from the B Block.

The winners of these matches will go on to face Zack Sabre Jr. and David Finlay respectively in the semifinals on August 17.

The finals of the G1 Climax 34 will take place on August 18.
