A new documentary series following the life and career of former Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho is coming to Netflix next year.

The series, produced by John Battsek, is set to be released 20 years on from when Mourinho shocked football by leading FC Porto to victory in the Champions League. It will explore his life in football and will include interviews with the man himself and the players who worked under him.

Battsek also worked on the four-part Beckham series.

The new Mourinho series is set to show his glory days at Porto, Inter and Chelsea, as well as his turbulent time at United and Tottenham.

Mourinho was sacked by AS Roma earlier this year and is currently without a job, but that is not going to stop him from hitting the big screen.

Since taking over at Porto, Mourinho has won 26 major trophies – but sadly he was never able to deliver the Premier League at United, like he did multiple times at Chelsea.

We can guarantee you this one will be popcorn viewing from start to finish.
